The brewery was taken over in 1952 by Morgan's Ltd, who retained the brewery and kept its service running.
There is no starting date in the records but the site is marked as "Brewery" on the 1st edition ordnance survey 1 inch map (S1), dating it to the early 1800s. There is also no end date to use as a brewery, however Google Earth shows the main building converted into a house.
