Summary

An earthwork mound of an unknown date has been recorded from field visits and is visible on visualised lidar data. As the lidar survey was flown relatively recently (2017) it is likely that the feature still survives as a low earthwork. The mound is located to the north of Lexham Hall and may relate to a Bronze Age round barrow or post medieval parkland feature.

An earthwork mound (see above) of an unknown date is visible on visualised lidar data. As the lidar survey was flown relatively recently (2017) it is likely that the feature still survives as a low earthwork. The mound may relate to a Bronze Age round barrow. It is also possible that the mound could relate to a post medieval parkland feature associated with Lexham hall (NHER 4089) and park (NHER 30469). The monument polygon has been updated to the location of the feature as seen on S1.
