March 1985. Listed, Grade II.
Mid 18th century stable of chequered brickwork on flint plinth, thatched. Two storeys with outshut. Half lozenge-shaped ventilators and stable doors. Interior has three bay double butt purlin roof, windbraced on lower order; tiebeams not aligned with principals. Ledge for manger remains, feed hatches from hayloft in gable wall, holes for hayrack staves in ceiling. Ogee stops to loft floor beam. Tack pegs in outshut. Important evidence for stabling of horses across gables, and separate tack room.

November 2005.
Examination showed that the above description is basically correct [1]. The stable must also be of around 1770 yet is in a different style to the other 1771 works.
