Summary

In March 2010 a fieldwalking survey recovered struck flint dating from the Neolithic to Early Bronze Age; Roman, Early to Middle Saxon, medieval and post-medieval pottery.

March 2010. Systematic Fieldwalking and Metal-detecting Survey.
Field survey of proposed development area (Field 14).
The survey recovered struck flint dating from the Neolithic to Early Bronze Age including flakes, cores, blades and scrapers; Roman, Early to Middle Saxon, medieval and post-medieval pottery. A single gun flint was also found and probably dates from the 17th to 19th century.
