Map

July 2011. Norfolk NMP.
The earthworks and cropmarks recorded below were previously recorded as part of NHER 9450.
Linear and rectilinear earthworks and cropmarks visible in this area on aerial photographs (S1)-(S3), centred at TG 1054 0190, are likely to be drainage and/or agricultural features of relatively recent origin. Although their precise function is not clear, they share the orientation of surrounding drains and field boundaries, and their rather incoherent layout suggests that they are mundane, perhaps fairly temporary features of negligible archaeological significance. Consequently they have not been mapped by the NMP.
S. Tremlett (NMP), 28 July 2011.
