Full Description
'Old Kiln' - Ordnance Survey.
15 April 1980. Visit.
Bowl shaped depression covered in ivy seems to indicate a buried lime kiln.

October 2002. Norfolk NMP.
Structural remains of limekiln visible on Ordnance Survey an aerial photograph from 1969 (S1). The site is located at TG 0998 4233 and measures approximately 4m in diameter internally. The kiln appears to be a stone built circular structure standing proud of the ground a reasonable height. It presumably also has a sub-surface element. The outer structure appears to be up to 2m wide, however, some tumble may have occurred. It is likely that this limekiln is post-medieval in date.

The available aerial photographs showed nothing visible at this location. It seems likely that the kiln, if it still exists, is completely obscured by vegetation.
