Full Description
May 2011. Norfolk Rural Schools Survey.
The old school was built in 1845 as a single long block, originally one-room, with a second room added in the 1875. The school is constructed in a plain style from flint with yellow brick door and window surrounds and a modern slate roof. A large modern (1990s) extension wraps round much of the old school. The school was originally scheduled for closure in 1958/9 but is still open as a Church of England Primary School owned by Norfolk County Council.
