Summary

The school was built between 1860 and 1862 with an extensions to the west in 1894? and to the south-west in 1911. The school is still in use and the former school house is now a private dwelling.

The school was built between 1860 and 1862 with an extension to the west in 1894? to create two rooms and in 1911 to add a new wing to the south-west. The building is constructed from brick with yellow/red polychrome brick decorative work on the window heads, dressings and quoins. The School House is attached to the school on the north-east corner and faces east-west and is constructed in the same style and materials as the school. Since the 1980s the School House has been a private dwelling.
