Summary

The National School was built in 1844 with extension in 1874 to add a reading room and was replaced by the Board School in the 1870s. In the 1940s the building was used as a Village Hall and has since been converted into a private dwelling.

The National School was built in 1844 with extension in 1874 to add a reading room and was replaced by the Board School in the 1870s. The building is constructed from carstone with a slate roof. In the 1940s the building was used as a Village Hall and has since been converted into a private dwelling.
