Full Description
A modern triangular milestone with sloping upper face and arched top. The upper face says Beetley/Milestone House in plain capitals and was presumably put up by the owners of the house outside which it stands. The side faces show Fakenham 9 miles and Dereham 3 miles. The first edition 6" Ordnance Survey map shows a milestone at this point reading Dereham 3, London 109.
