Summary

Metal-detecting in 2012 and 2015 recovered a fragment of medieval/post-medieval pottery; a medieval and post-medieval coins; a medieval and post-medieval jetton and Iron Age/Roman to post-medieval metal objects. The metal objects include a possibly Iron Age torc or bracelet fragment or possibly Roman bracelet fragment; Roman brooches, a copper alloy bead, copper alloy figurine of a young male figure and a possible furniture fitting; a fragment of an Early Saxon bow brooch and a girdle hanger; a Middle Saxon ansate brooch; medieval to post-medieval dress accessories; medieval horse harness pendants, seal matrix and a furniture fitting; a medieval/post-medieval swivel for a leash and a rotary key and post-medieval harness mounts, a lead four-part seal, furniture fitting, trade weight, cloth seal, crotal bells and thimbles.
