This building was constructed in several phases. Firstly, the original Holt Board School was established in 1877, before being enlarged in 1892 and 1903 to accommodate 82 children. In 1910 the Infants school was established, with a Junior's school being added in 1928. A further phase of extensions in 1992-1993 added a new hall and several offices.
