Two circular pools and a rectangular medicinal bath of later date. Anecdotal evidence indicates that the wells are at least in part medieval in origin. Now part of a small enclosed garden in Abbey Park (NHER 56859). (S1) records that in the mid 19th century it was suggested that the two wells had been given the name 'Wishing Wells' because the devotees of Our lady at Walsingham, were taught to believe that any who had permission to drink from the wells could obtain whatever they wished for.
Information from (S1).
