Summary

Two Iron Age gold coins were found by a fisherman on Sheringham beach around 1939. He saw a third coin under water but was unable to recover it.

Two gold coins (staters; Mack type 27 - Evans B.8). Picked out of water by fisherman [1] who saw a third coin but could not recover it.
Sold at Sotherby's on 11 February 1960, lots 43 and 44.
