The school is a large ornate Sandringham-estate style erected in 1877 by HRH Prince of Wales. The building is constructed from carstone with stone architraves to the windows, corners, parapets and kneelers and a tile roof. The school closed pre-1940 and has since been converted into a residential dwelling.
