Full Description
A milestone recorded by the Milestone Society and positioned along the Wells to Fakenham via Walsingham road. Erected in 1834, this is a V-Section, cast-iron milestone with the locations written diagonally on the two side faces.
The inscription reads:
TOP: "WELLS".
LHS: "TO/WELLS/1/MILE".
RHS: "TO/NORWICH/31/MILES".
