Full Description
A post-medieval milestone recorded by the Milestone Society and positioned along the Scole to Harleston road. This is a rectangular pillar milestone, embedded into a wall, with the inscription written on the side facing the road and the direction to the indicated towns shown by a pointing hand.
The inscription reads:
"[hand]TO/BUNGAY/7/MILES/TO[hand]/SCOLE/8/MILES".
