Summary

Metal-detecting in 2012 and 2013 by Elden Tours recovered Roman and post-medieval coins as well as undated and Middle Saxon to post-medieval metal objects. The metal finds include an undated copper alloy probable ingot; a Middle Saxon pin; a Late Saxon/medieval mount; a medieval strap end, strap fitting, harness mount, furniture fitting; medieval/post-medieval buckles, thimble and weight or spindle whorl and a post-medieval rotary key, pipe tamper, harness mount, finger-ring and buckle frames.
