Map

April 2012. Norfolk NMP.
Several cropmark ditches are visible on aerial photographs (S3), to the east of Dyke Beck, Wymondham. They are centred on TM 0848 9898 and appear likely to be the remnants of post medieval drainage features, since they are situated in a heavily drained area. A large dark mark visible on aerial photographs (S1-S2) has been mapped as an extent of area as it may represent a former pit, but it may equally be related to recent agricultural activity. Several tree boles left by a former wooded area are also visible on the most recent aerial photographs of the area (S4).
E. Bales (NMP), 30th April 2012.
