Map

May 2012. Norfolk NMP.
Several linear ditches are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs (S1) on land to the west of Mayfield Farm, Besthorpe. The site is centred on TM 0712 9662. It is likely that all these ditches relate to post medieval field boundaries or drainage features, as there are cropmarks of other field boundaries visible in the area, which have not been mapped as they are shown on the 2nd edition Ordnance survey map of the area. A possible enclosure is visible to the south (NHER 54730).
