Map

May 2012. Norfolk NMP.
Cropmarks of a parish boundary and a medieval to post medieval road or trackway are visible on aerial photographs (S1-S2) to the east of Pye Lane, Deopham.
The site is centred on TM 0501 9999, and consists of a curvilinear ditch cropmark to the east which partially relates to the Morley/Deopham parish boundary, along with a linear bank to the west which curves at its southern end and seems to correspond with a road depicted on Faden’s map of Norfolk, to the west of Morley Green, heading north towards Deopham.
A series of very faint linear cropmarks to the south may represent field boundaries or enclosures, centred on TM 0502 9981, although it is difficult to be certain since they are only faintly visible on one set of photographs.
E. Bales (NMP), 14th May 2012.

February 2013. Norfolk NMP.
Possible additional cropmarks may be visible on aerial photographs (S3-S4) within the southwestern part of this site, but have not been added to the mapping due to insufficient time and the fact that they do not add a great deal to the overall interpretation of the site.
S. Horlock (NMP), 01 February 2013.
