Map

May 2012. Norfolk NMP.
A possible undated ring ditch is visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs (S1) on land to the east of Morley Old Hall, Morley.
The site is centred on TM 0572 9850, and consists of a ring ditch measuring 11m in internal diameter, 14m in external diameter. It is possible that this represents a Bronze Age round barrow, but its slightly irregular nature and the fact that it only appears to be visible on one set of photographs suggests that perhaps it is in fact a natural fungus ring, and is not archaeological in nature.
E. Bales (NMP), 15th May 2012.
