Summary

A linear ditch earthwork is visible on aerial photographs to the north of Ashtree Farm, Morley. It is possible that this relates to the ditches recorded to the north east, as part of the deserted medieval village NHER 12178. It is also possible that it relates to drainage, as it does appear to run into a drain to the west. Three narrower ditches are also visible running perpendicular to the larger one, suggesting that they perform a drainage function.
