15 July 1996. NLA aerial photography. NGR amended from that below.

Cropmark of large causewayed ring ditch, located at TG 2194 2694.
Two of the causeways appear to be opposed giving it a hengiform appearance.
A fairly regular series of field boundaries traverse the field diagonally. These may be post medieval in date.
S. Massey (NLA) 18 October 2001.

19 July 1996. NLA aerial photography. Area centred TG 2186 2690.
Very clear circular enclosure with single narrow causeway/entrance.
Additional anomalies in this field may be archaeological in origin.
M. Brennand (NLA) 9 May 2001.

June 2012.
This may be related to barrow cemetery 56267 to the south west. Visible on S1, S2 and S3.
K. Powell (HES), 15 June 2012.

June 2022. Aylsham and Brampton Aerial Investigation and Mapping (AIM) Project.
The cropmarks of a possible Bronze Age ring ditch (see above) are seen on aerial photographs (S1-S5). There are two breaks in the ring ditch which may have related to causeways. The western section of the ring ditch also appears to be thinner than the eastern section of ditch. The feature may have related to the site of a Bronze Age barrow. It is also possible that the feature may have related to a possible Neolithic to Bronze age hengiform monument or a possible Bronze Age to Iron Age curvilinear enclosure. The north of the feature may be crossed by a later field boundary (NHER 36457)
J. Powell (Norfolk Historic Environment Service), 14 June 2022.
