Map

June 2012. Norfolk NMP.
A possible linear ditch cropmark is visible on aerial photographs (S1) to the north of Upgate Farm, Carleton Rode. It is centred on TM 0964 9240, and does not appear to correspond with any of the field boundaries visible on historic maps. It is also faint and rather ephemeral in nature, suggesting that it may be earlier in date than those cropmarks that are visible on historic maps.
It is only visible on one set of photographs, and has therefore been recorded with a note of caution.
E. Bales (NMP), 7th June 2012.
