Summary

An area of linear earthworks is visible on aerial photographs to the east of Upgate Street, Carleton Rode. They have been recorded with a monument polygon around the general area, and not mapped individually, as they appear likely to relate to post medieval drainage, although it is possible that these earthworks represent land division and/or drainage from the medieval period.
