Summary

An archaeological evaluation in the garden of The Manor House (NHER 55653) revealed no archaeological features, although several sherds of medieval to post medieval pottery were recovered along with a fragment of medieval brick, suggesting that there may be evidence of medieval settlement, or perhaps the medieval forerunner to the Manor House, situated relatively close by.
