Summary

An earthwork mound of unknown date, which may be a Bronze Age round barrow, which was excavated in the 1920s and the 1950s. The mound may be surrounded by a slight ditch.

Barrow like mound 70ft (22m) diameter and 6ft (2m) high with trenches in T shape in centre, from Sainty's excavation.
In Beech Wood but with few sycamores on mound.
Suspicion of surrounding ditch.
