Map

September 2012. Norfolk NMP.
Possible Medieval to post medieval trackways across Larling heath are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs (S1-S2).
The site is centred on TL 9648 8921, and consists of at least three long earthwork ditches and several earthwork banks. There are numerous earthwork trackways visible crossing this area, many of which have been dismissed as modern footpaths, and have not been mapped. There are also several linear features visible as cropmarks in the area (S3), but these have also been dismissed as they are likely to represent modern tracks across the heath. It has therefore been difficult to differentiate between those features which warranted mapping and those which did not.
E. Bales (NMP), 13 September 2012.
