Summary

The cropmarks and vegetation marks of fragmentary ditches and former field boundaries and divisions of probable medieval to post medieval date are visible on aerial photographs to the southwest of Coltishall airfield. The western ditch of the rectilinear enclosure or paddock is depicted on the 1841 Tithe map suggesting that the cropmarks relate to medieval to post medieval land allotment gone out of use by the mid nineteenth century.
