An historic cricket ground with elaborate thatched pavilion, which was the home of cricket in Norfolk for 173 years. The site was owned and maintained by local firm Colman's but was sold by them in 1993.
(S1) The future of the site was reported to be uncertain in 2012.

Revised plans for the former cricket site have been submitted, which do not involve the thatched cricket pavilion which was built almost 70 years ago and it is expected to be demolished if these plans are approved.
