Full Description
1970. Found during sewer trench digging, similar to existing kiln in Sprowston Road, Norwich.
Lower part of limestone kiln.

Kiln seen by T. Clough (NAU), W. Milligan (NCM) and N. Peake (NCM/UEA).
The remains of the kiln can be seen in what is now a large Victorian era garden, set inside the chalk pit which supplied the kiln.
