Map

October 2012. Norfolk NMP.
Earthworks of at least one possible medieval to post medieval enclosure or drainage ditches are visible on aerial photographs (S1-S3) to the south of Old Farm, Stow Bedon.
The site is centred on TL 9583 9420 and consists of fragmentary possible earthwork ditches which appear to surround a slightly raised banked area centred on TL 9583 9420. It is possible that these features relate to post medieval drainage ditches and are not, in fact, archaeological in nature, but they have been mapped due to their proximity to the medieval moated site NHER 14456. It is also possible that these features are related to those recorded to the east as NHER 57452.
E. Ford (NMP), 25 October 2012.
