Map

November 2012. Norfolk NMP.
Earthworks of possible medieval to post medieval field boundaries or drainage ditches are visible on aerial photographs (S1) to the south of All Saints’ Church, Snetterton.
The site is centred on TL 9923 9073, and given its proximity to the River Thet it is likely that all these features represent former drainage ditches.
However, it is also possible that they relate to medieval to post medieval field boundaries, and at least one ditch feature (centred on TL 9930 9093) has the appearance of a possible hollow way.
The earthworks are only really visible on one set of photographs, and have therefore been recorded with a hint of caution.
E. Ford (NMP), 08 November 2012.
