Brickyard Plantation is shown on the first edition six mile to the inch Ordnance Survey map (S1) located on the eastern edge of Cranmer Park (NHER 58244). It is likely that this is the site of a post medieval brick kiln. Claypit Lane is shown leading away from the plantation to the southeast.
