Summary

Metal-detecting in 2011 and 2016 recovered Late Prehistoric worked flints including a Late Neolithic/Early Bronze Age knife or dagger; a medieval pottery sherd; medieval and post-medieval coins; a medieval/post-medieval jetton and a number of other, Early Saxon and medieval to post-medieval metal objects. These metal finds include Early Saxon brooch fragments; medieval dress accessories, a mount, scabbard cover, sword or dagger pommel and lead weight; a medieval /post-medieval unidentified object and post-medieval buttons, a buckle and sword-belt fitting.

October-December 2011. Metal-detecting. [1].
2 Late prehistoric flint flakes.
1 Late Neolithic/Early Bronze Age flint knife or dagger.
2 Early Saxon Great square-head brooch fragments (S1).
1 medieval coin, 1 pottery sherd, a strap end, belt mount, sword or dagger pommel, sheet mount and lead weight.
Medieval/post-medieval copper alloy vessel foot and copper alloy unidentified object.
1 post-medieval coin, 2 buttons, a buckle and sword-belt fitting.
