Middle Bronze Age copper alloy valve from two-piece looped palstave mould.
Information from PAS import [2].
This was the second object of this type to be recovered at this location; the first having been found in the field to the west in 2007 (NHER 51636).
It was subsequently declared Treasure and acquired by Norwich Castle Museum - see below.

2 Middle Bronze Age copper alloy valves from two-piece looped palstave moulds - the other halves of the moulds found between 2007 and 2010 (one at this site and one in the field to the west - see above).
The two complete moulds were deemed to represent a hoard and therefore reported as potential Treasure (Treasure case 2012 T722). They were declared Treasure on 22 April 2013 and subsequently acquired by Norwich Castle Museum in March 2014 (NWHCM : 2014.16).
