Beside the top of the steps from St Peter's Street to Norwich Market. A rare Penfold type post box, dated 1866-1879, distinguished by its hexagonal construction and Acanthus bud surmounting the cap. This is not in its original position, and was relocated following damage to its door and subsequent restoration by Norwich City Council.
