Full Description
February 2013. Norfolk NMP.
The possible cropmarks of undated ditches may be visible on aerial photographs to the south of Carver’s Lane, Attleborough (S1). The site is centred on TM 0374 9524. Although it is possible that these cropmarks relate to underlying drains.
S. Horlock (NMP), 01 February 2013.
September 2011. Trial Trenching.
Evaluation of proposed development site.
Neither cropmark was found to be associated with surviving sub-surface remains. Although a number of ditches were identified at this location, their alignments were all different to those of these cropmarks.
See report (S2) and NHER 65570 for further details.
P. Watkins (HES), 18 May 2022.
