Fieldwalking by Caistor Roman Project in 2012 recovered Roman and medieval to post-medieval pottery sherds; medieval/post-medieval brick fragments; post-medieval clay tobacco pipe fragments; undatable and post-medieval/modern ceramic building material and glass sherds and undatable animal bone fragments, shell fragments, slag and burnt flint.
