Summary

The site of a probable former World War Two type 22 pillbox is visible on aerial photographs. However it must be stated that due to the nature of the aerial photographs it is hard to be completely certain about this identification and it is possible that the polygonal construction, and associated structure, is agricultural in origin.

The site of a probable former World War Two type 22 pillbox is visible on aerial photographs (S1). This site is centred on TM 0445 9745. However it must be stated that due to the nature of the aerial photographs it is hard to be completely certain about this identification and it is possible that the polygonal construction, and associated structure, is agricultural in origin.
