Full Description
April 2012-April 2013. Stray Find. [1].
Neolithic/Early Bronze Age quartzite pestle or club-like implement (S1). The smoothness of its sides suggest it was made by grinding and polishing. Potentially ceremonial as the 'pounding' end shows no obvious sign of wear.
Information from PAS import.
P. Watkins (HES), 20 May 2021.
