Summary

A Mesolithic/Early Neolithic retouched flint flake was found in a box at the Norwich Castle Museum in 2011. It is possible that this object had been found in Acle during 2003.

In 2011 the Norwich Castle Museum accessioned a Mesolithic/Early Neolithic retouched flint flake that had been found in a box in the Archaeology Department (NWHCM : 2011.460). Paperwork found with it suggested it may have been found in Acle by [1] during 2003; although it was uncertain whether this information actually referred to this find. The NHER has no record of any other finds recovered in Acle by [1] at this time.
