Full Description
A concrete Villa-type watch office sits at the core of an expanded Air Traffic Control tower. The original structure was bombed in 1944 and rebuilt to the original pattern. Two Vierendeel towers were mounted on the top of the Watch Office and presumably supported meteorological equipment.
A. Cattermole (HES), 21 March 2013.
