The Station workshops date from the Expansion period, but have been extensively modified.

The main workshops are the building now numbered 17A, to the south east of the later steel-framed extension which formed the Mechanical Engineering bay, erected in 1973.

There is a mural on one of the walls in the crew room. It was painted directly onto the wall with a false wooden frame around it. More information to follow.
