Summary

No archaeological finds or features were recovered during monitoring of excavation of foundation trenches for the Roudham Millennium Roadside Shelter. The soil disturbed during these works may be redeposited topsoil from the marl pit excavated to the north of the site.

No archaeological finds or features were recovered during monitoring of excavation of foundation trenches for the Roudham Millennium Roadside Shelter.
The foundation trenches disturbed a make-up layer comprised of sandy soil with a few chalky inclusions. This may be redeposited topsoil from the marl pit excavated to the north of the site.
