Hydraulic Ram (Ordnance Survey).
In fact two, both 2 inch Easton, Amos and Andrews, 1852 and 1905, in a thatched house.

Survey of the fountain (NHER 42796) and water supply systems at Letheringsett Hall.
The two hydraulic rams pumped water to a header tank in the walls structure of the conservatory at Letheringsett Hall (NHER 6521). Remarkably they are both still in working order.
