Summary

Fieldwalking in this area prior to 1998 recovered a number of prehistoric worked flints including several blade fragments of probable Mesolithic date.

The Norwich Castle Museum holds a small collection of worked flints that were found by [1] at [2]. These finds are unregistered but are stored with a range of other finds that are recorded as having been found by [1] prior to December 1992 (NWHCM : 1998.407). The 12 flints include 1 blade, 4 blade fragments are 7 flakes. The blades fragments are from small, neat examples and are probably Mesolithic.
