Summary

A geophysical survey undertaken in 2011 recorded a possible east-west ditch in the north-western corner of the field which has been interpreted as a post-medieval to modern field drain. Excavation of nine trial trenches in 2012 recorded only a single ditch containing a modern field drain in the east of the field. A prehistoric flint flake was the only find recovered.
