Summary

A geophysical survey of this site undertaken identified no magnetic anomalies of possible archaeological origin. Trial trench evaluation of the southern half of the field in 2016 did however revealed a number of undated ditches and possible pits.

January-February 2016. Trial Trenching.
Evaluation of part of large proposed development site (Area 3, Trenches 1-13).
The thirteen trenches excavated at this location revealed a number of ditches and several possible pits, none of which produced any dating evidence.
No unstratified finds were recovered.
